Blue lakes are the lakes water beaten that formed nearly 25 thousand years ago and located on the left bank of the Katun, at a distance of 4-5 kilometers from the village of Askat.

Gorno-Altai Botanical Garden
Gorno-Altai Botanical Garden is located at the confluence of the Sema River into the Katun River, on the left bank of the latter. Nearby there is the Chuisky road. The nearest settlement is the village of Kamlak, and from here it is 77 km to Gorno-Altaisk.
To the south-west of the cave it is the village of Black Anuy (Ust-Kansky district). At 30 km from Kaminna, there is the Denisov Cave, and just around the corner, just 22 meters away, the Peshirsky Creek is buzzing merrily - it came here from the left tributary of Karakol and flows past the cave in the river Anuy
Akkemsky lakes are like two mirrors which the mountain Belukha look at. They are located in the Ust-Koksinsky district, in the upper reaches of the “White River” or, in other words, Akkem. There is a winding road 40 km long leading here from the village of Tungur. Serra de Tramuntana is a mountain ridge that forms the northern ridge of the island. Amazing mountain range has been declared a place of world physical and cultural heritage of UNESCO
Not far from the place of contact between the ranges of Sailyugem and Yuzhno-Chuysky there is a mini, in comparison with its English counterpart, Stonehenge. It is called Altai Stonehenge and these are huge boulders, painted with petroglyphs of the Pazyryk culture.
It is located 400 m from the mouth of the left tributary of the Katun - the Kamyshla River. Nearby there are the villages of Barangol and Ust-Sema. The location of the waterfall corresponds to approximately 490 km of the Chui tract, located on the opposite bank of the Katun river.
The second highest waterfall in Altai is located on the “Goat River”, better known as Tekel. This name comes from the word "Teke" - mountain goat. This animal is a frequent visitor to the Tekel Valley
